I would like to acknowledge and thank you for your excellent handling of my horse, Cole. When I hired you 4 months ago to exercise my horse, Cole had 2 serious shortcomings. He needed more miles and a work ethic. I expected the miles to come but was pleasantly surprise by the quality of the miles that you put on him.

What first impressed me was your patient yet firm handling of his inexperience. It was a windy day and the lilac bush that he had passed many times before had suddenly sprung to life as a horse-eating monster. It was your first time ever riding Cole and I figured you would tell me that he requires more work than what you were willing to tackle. To my delight not only did you not say those words but patiently worked with him until he would pass the “monster” without a sideways glance.

Second, and to me more impressive, is how well you are modifying his work ethic. Those who know Cole have described him as a “lazy bum”. Cole had 3 gaits slow, slower and whoa. Riding him usually meant a cardio work out for the rider followed by a date with Ben Gay. I can’t tell you how pleased I was when I came out and saw that after only a few sessions that this “lazy bum” was starting to put forth an earnest effort for you. As time has gone by, I have noticed serious changes in his attitude and willingness to work. He has matured and is more cooperative in all aspects of his handling.

Thank you again for all of your excellent efforts to bring more enjoyment to my relationship with my horse.

Erin Wilson-Kaufman’s Complete Equine Services provides services exactly as advertised. When discussing what we wanted for our horses, she was thorough and thoughtful in her questions. She wanted to give the same type of care we provide for our animals.

She communicated with us regularly when they were under her care and advised us as to the status of the animals on a daily basis. She provided the necessary routine care as well as dealing with a first aid situation with equal competence. Upon arriving home, it was evident good care had been taken.

Erin is honest, reasonable and responsible. We are confident of her abilities to “take over” when we are gone and will continue to make use of her Complete Equine Services.

We are very happy with the family horseback riding lessons we’ve been doing with Erin. She has an ability to work with all levels of riders and allows them to progress with their capabilities individually. I get the sense that beyond Erin’s experience and training she is intuitive about what a horse and rider need. Her manner is educational, calming and professional. My name is Catherine Jameson, I live in Fort Collins, and I have 6 horses, 2 dogs, 5 cats, and many fowl. I have used Erin and Complete Equine Services twice when I have gone out of town. Both times Erin was very efficient, correct in all procedures, willing to ask questions rather than assuming when in doubt, kind and quiet with my horses and other animals, and very knowledgeable. I have enjoyed getting to know Erin and am glad that I have found someone that I can trust and afford to take care of my animals when I travel.
I plan on continuing to have Erin help me out when necessary as long as she continues in this business. I recommend her highly to anyone who needs assistance around their barn while they are either away or unable to do the work themselves. Thanks Erin for all you’ve done.
